Ok, I kind of got tired of looking at the same old post for two months. This blog will be revived dangit! So, let me start off by saying hi to all the fellas up in the north (being in South FLA pretty much everything is to the North). Also, I saw Jorge's daughter Gabby the other day and she's super cute.
Anyway, it's great to be a Florida Go Gator recently. I miss the partying that must be going on in Gainesville with every victory. I am there in spirit. As for me, not much is new. You guys probably know that I opened my own law firm at the beginning of 07. So far it has been going well. We're working hard at chasing ambulances - I think a motorcycle would help :) Also, Thania is pregnant with a little girl. She is about 22 weeks (I think). Her name is Alexis Marina Negroni. Marina is for my grandma. Well, that's about it. I hope all of you are doing well, and Go Gators!

Champions!
Well, U.F. did it again. We won another national championship. It's been ten years since the last one. My memories of the old championship have gotten faded, but the 2006 championship season will tide me over until the next one. It's unbelievable that we hold both the basketball and football championships together in the same season. The probabilities of that ever happening again anywhere are low.
We had a great crowd at the house. In 40+ degree weather we had people sitting outside in the courtyard to watch the game on the big media projector-fed screen. On the porch and inside we cleared out all the oversized furniture and set up stools and chairs a la theater seating to watch the four televisions we had tuned to the game. We ran out of toilet paper in the fourth quarter. We ran out of keg beer at about the same time. 40-60 people were here at any given moment throughout the night, but as soon as we won everyone took off running up 17th street to get to University Avenue. The celebration was similar to the one after the '06 NCAA basketball final. People on lamp and telephone poles, mortars fired into the air, a huge mob spilling out onto University Avenue. People were elated throughout. It was an amazing experience. It was beautiful. I'm just happy I had already taken Tuesday off work. ;)
I'm happy I live in Gainesville. I know I always said I was going to leave at some point. Some folks told me I'd stay in Gainesville. Well, I guess they might be right. It just doesn't seem as if I'm going to leave anytime soon. A friend recently bought a house and I think to myself, "if she can do it, so can I." Miguel and Kelly will be here for a while longer and I like being close to family. I've got a great group of friends up here (although I seriously miss the rest of the gang). I've got a ton of reasons to stay right now. I think I'm going to buy a house here and soon. Wish me luck.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
While life has taken us in many different directions, we're all still brothers and sisters. All of you are dearly missed, and I wanted to take this opportunity to say that every single one of you has meant something to me, and I'll never forget that. With that, I wish you all a very Happy New Year and a safe and wonderful 2007.

Blogger Upgrade
I've upgraded the blog to the newest version of Blogger. I think in order to add new posts, you'll need to sign up for it. The new version is really neat, and makes it a lot easier to update the template if you so desire. I think as new people sign up for the new version, they should appear in the profile/contributors container to the right. To sign up, just log into Blogger as usual. You should see a link in the dashboard to upgrade. Click the upgrade link and follow the prompts.

Jeez Louise, Even More News!!
Well, as some of you may already know, Thania is pregnant. Not only is she pregnant, she is having twins. At this time she's about eight weeks into it, and apparently the risk goes down after 12 weeks, so we're not out of the woods yet. I'm totally stoked about being a dad, and I will be bugging Yorgi a lot for advice.

Legal News...Sort of
Well guys, I'm happy to announce that I am splitting from my current law firm, and I am opening my own firm. Actually it's a partnership between one of the lawyers working at my current firm and myself. We already have a place and have been working on outfitting it. We will be officially open for business on January 2, 2007. As you all know, I specialize in personal injury, but at this point I plan on practicing Door Law (anything that walks through the door). I'm very excited about this, and I couldn't resist notifiying you guys. The next time any of you is down in this area, please let me know so that I can show you my place.
