One More SCUBA picture

Hey guys, this is a photograph I took this weekend while diving the Tracey shipwreck off the coast of Ft. Lauderdale. This ship was sunk in the early 1980's when it was seized from a drug smuggler. No, there are no more drugs left in it, but the fish around it act awfully strange and seem to have the constant munchies. I digress. Anyway, the picture shows the platform on the back of the ship. There is a lot of sea life around the area, but thankfully no big boys (i.e. Jaws) made an appearance. Hope you enjoy it. Take care. -J

Very cool! Glad to see you're making use of your lessons. Have you bought your own gear yet, or are you renting?

Funny you should mention it. I just bought a full set of gear and used it for the first time on this wreck dive. It worked perfectly.

Damn, Grownzi. It's very cool that you are doing so many dives. Now when do we get to see the 27 foot Donzi parked next to the house? I want to go for a ride! ;)

Well, I'll answer two questions with one post. Marky, it only took me 4 days to get my license. It is one of the best things I've ever done in my entire life. I invite you to join me when you come back stateside.

Shidog, as you may know, my brother is now living in Fla. He's getting his professional diver's license. If he ends up staying in the Ft. Lauderdale area, we're definitely going to acquire a boat - nothing fancy but enough to have a good time on it.

Right now I'm off in Aspen, CO with Thania for a little ski vacation. You know, I hear that the beer flows like wine over here. I need to check it out and let you know if it's true.

Well, ta ta for now. Let's celebrate Yorgi's new addition with some alcohol as soon as we can.

I'll be down the first week of April, but might try to go for a day sooner. We'll see- my kids are testing with the FCAT right now and things are sketchy during this time.

As for the boat... you can't tow it with an Audi. Wanna trade rides? :)

Love you all, Hose.
