Camping Trip?
I've gotten wind that there's a camping trip on the horizon. Where shall it be? Who shall be there? When will it take place? I know not. Dost thou knowest?
As for the camping trip. The trip will be on the weekend of November 5, 6, and 7. I will take my happy birthday self up to Ocean Pond which is off U.S. 90 (the old Olustee Battlefield) and go camping. The site is where we previously had a camping expedition eons ago with some of the Miami girls. It's actually a pretty nice site. It's got a lake, no bathrooms, no electricity, no running water, a lake, and lots of trees. It really is a neat site. I'm thinking we drive up there Saturday morning (which with this crew would end up being Saturday afternoon) and pitch a tent and hang out on the lake, then build a big ass fire, make some food and hang out with everyone. I'm going to check the site this Friday and inventory my stuff so everyone knows what is available and what each person might need to get. I don't mind preparing a lot of the stuff since you all are making the trip. I will blog again about this on Sunday night after I make a trip to the site to make sure it's not under water. Grownzi, check the previous thread on gmail "Juan's farewell photos" so you have a better idea. I wrote one or two emails on there that indicate more. Peace. Out! -SHIDOG
